When Its Time For August

Did you see July slip away
On a rainy morning when August appeared
The nightingale's song now diminished
The Yellow Song Bird has started his new tune

Did you see the sun escape today
As the dark clouds covered its trail of blazing
Did you see those trickle of rain drops
As they fell in drizzles somewhat trickling

And Did you find the new soulmate you searched for
On a thread of a string as he sang his song
Did you hear him say your name
Did you say his in return

After all come this August
There's a lot that you would expect to spring on you
Just like those little buds that bloom
Tracing the branches they cling on to

Would you believe in August like I do
Its done away with July
I can now go forth with a smile
and sing the Yellow Bird's tune.
