The Green Arc

I know if I pass through you
I'll find another you
Lined in a street and sprinkled with dew
For the morning comes after
Dewdrops seen in view
Inviting the sun out to
explore your self true.

I know you've lived through
and seen mansions of stone
I know you've carved a name
as the arc of streamlight
A green lung
Amidst sunlight that has since streamed through.

  1. Love the trees not chopped or tortured like so many. A nice description of the avenue and the sunlight. Nicely written. Signed A Wood Surgeon.
