There was a kindness in that Strangers Eyes
That never did I forget
He took his coat off on a rainy day
And kept me warm in it
There was a smile on her soft lips
When he whispered her name
He made it sound intoxicating
She felt a blush come on
There was a child who laid a brick
To stamp the foundation of a home
For merry is a house full of kids
Especially at Christmas time
Gifts of love, Gifts sublime
The greatest gift that ever was
Is the Gift of Love Sublime
