The Blue Frame

I had a picture frame. it was blue
It was a striking blue
And I thought "how true"

Blue mesmerized

It was blue as the ocean
A darkish hue
It spared no reason
For a brief glance or two

Blue uplifted

The shade was so captivating
It needed no glamor to make it stand out
Just a few creepers round it
And a flower or two
A natural remedy
To the uplifting soul

Blue ageless

The ageless blue looked dazing
It refreshed and resurrected
An ageless fit it was
to a classic anointing

The blue of the waters that filled the ocean
Once rode with the stars of the night
And roamed with the storms raging
O how the color mesmerized and uplifted to become an ageless beauty of all time.
